Dimar performs contract manufacturing for primary metal forming utilizing a variety of materials including cold rolled steel; pressure vessel grade plate, stainless steels, and aluminum. Operations include:
• Blanks – Laser cutting metal (from .006” thick through 1.000” thick – depending upon material); turret press; shearing; and stamping press blanks
• Forming in late model CNC AMADA press brakes as well as conventional stamping dies.
• Welding – MIG, TIG, brazing; and resistance spot welding
• Surface preparation and clean up – grinding, time-saving (graining) and polishing department
• Machining– countersinks; machined in features; production machined components
• CNC Tube bending and forming
• Powder coat finishing in Dimar’s new state -of-the –art powder coat application system
• Assembly – of components; sub-assemblies; and completed products; including integration of purchase components

Dimar Manufacturing is installing its second Mitsubishi 3015LVPLUS-11 heavy duty, high speed laser. This will effectively double Dimar’s capacity to quickly and efficiently cut thicknesses of steel from .006″ through 1.00″. Both Mitsu lasers will feature autoload mechanisms to facilitate “lights out” 24/7 production. In addtion to sheets of carbon steel, these lasers effectively cut stainless steel, aluminum, and even screening materials.
